I’m a teacher turned photographer, girl mom of 3. When my oldest daughter was born 10 years ago on January 9th, I picked up a camera and began shooting (and posting). Soon, others were asking me to capture their children and families, and I created a forum to share the images, and One Nine Photography was born. I’m most drawn to the small moments. It doesn’t matter if I’m shooting a wedding or a family session, I am always documenting the small moments, because to me, those moments are what is weaved together to make up the fabric of your life. My goal is to document your season of life at its most authentic level. I want to document you in your backyard on a warm summer evening as your kids play on the playset, I want to document you at the ice cream shop you take your family every summer, melted ice cream, sprinkles and all.

I want to turn your everyday moments into beautiful heirlooms.
